History

Runtime can look back on four successful decades of the highest dynamics in the development of industry and human resources services.

Today, we are a widely diversified enterprise with well over 5,000 employees and more than 70 branch offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.


1960 Founding of Deutsche Tailleur (DTG) by Hans Topp. In the following years the company gained market leadership in specialized industrial packaging in significant branches such as machine and plant construction, industrial goods or automobile parts.

1985 Founding of ADS (today known as Runtime Services GmbH & Co. KG).

1996 In the Deutsche Tailleur Group, the part-time employment division is founded.

Till 1999 Extension of the nationwide network of branch offices.

2000 Takeover of the Deutsche Tailleur Group by D.Logistics AG. The human resources activities are outsourced by Birger Topp through a management buy-out.

2001 Founding of the Runtime Group. 500 employees in Germany.
2 branch offices open in Belgium.

2002 Founding of the Credo Runtime AG (Switzerland). Today known as Runtime Services AG.

2003 Extension of the service provision palette through the founding of their own production centers (Runtime Productions).

2004 Further extension of business operations: Founding of RC Document Service, an entreprise for dokument management and Runtime Select (now called Servartis Search & Selection) in headhunting managers.

2005 Founding of further foreign branch offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

2007 Consolidation of the German branch office network and the founding of the Austrian national association.
Organisational growth: 70 branch offices with over 5,000 employees in 7 European countries.
Active extension of the branch office network in the local and European realm.
